Your file never leaves your device. Processed locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Location and camera metadata (EXIF) are removed from the result.

How to crop an image

1. Drop one or more images. 2. Drag the frame, or drag a corner to resize it. Pick Square, 4:3, 16:9 or another shape if you want the frame locked. 3. Press “Crop images” and download.

Same share on every image

The frame is a portion of width and height. That same portion is applied to each image in the list, so a batch of similar photos can be cropped together. Location and camera data are not copied into the result.

How to crop a batch to the same frame

1. Drop the photos. The frame on the first image is a share of the width and height. 2. Drag it, or drag a corner. Pick Square, 4:3 or 16:9 if the shape must stay fixed. 3. That same share is applied to every file. 4. Save as JPG for photos or PNG if you still need transparency.

Use Rotate image first when the picture is sideways, then crop. A square crop is the usual profile photo. The new file does not keep GPS data.

Frequently asked questions

Can I crop to a square for a profile photo?

Yes. Set the frame to Square, drag it over the face or subject, and download. PNG keeps transparency. JPG and WebP do not.

What is the size limit?

Each image has to fit what this browser can decode. The limit is shown next to the drop area.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Cropping uses the canvas in this tab.

Why did the second photo crop the wrong subject?

The frame is a fraction of each image, not a face detector. Line up similar photos, or crop different shots one by one.

Can I crop a PDF page?

Use Crop PDF for the document. This page only opens pictures. PDF to JPG is the step when you need a photo of the page first.
