How to merge audio
1. Drop at least two audio files. 2. Drag the cards so the first thing you want to hear is at the top. 3. Leave the output on MP3, or pick M4A or WAV. 4. Press “Merge audio” and download.
Re-encode is the right default when the clips were recorded on different phones. Fast copy is quicker when every file is already the same kind, such as two MP3s from the same recorder.
One track, same loudness path
GustKit reads each file with FFmpeg in this tab and writes a new stereo file at 44.1 kHz. Mixed MP3, WAV and M4A become one format. The original clips stay where you dropped them.
What this page does not do
It does not crossfade, trim or change the volume. Cut a clip first with Trim audio, then merge. To pull sound out of a video, use Video to MP3 and then come back here. Up to 12 files at a time.
How to hear the join before you send it
1. Play the download across the point where the first clip ends. 2. If one file is much louder, trim or re-export that clip first, then merge again. 3. Keep WAV when you will edit the result, and MP3 when you will send it.
Re-encode makes mixed recordings match. Fast copy is only a shortcut when every file is already the same kind. The originals stay on your device.
