How to convert WebP to JPG
1. Drop one or more WebP files. PNG and JPG are refused on this page. 2. Press “Convert images”. 3. Download the JPG, or a ZIP for a batch.
Use this when a form, a printer or an old editor says it does not accept WebP. JPG is the file that opens in the most places. It does not keep a transparent background.
Transparency becomes white
JPG has no transparent pixels. A WebP logo with a clear background is painted on white. If the background must stay clear, use WebP to PNG instead of this page.
Same converter, shorter page
Pixels are decoded in this tab and drawn to a canvas, then saved as JPG. Nothing is uploaded. Location metadata is not copied. Animated WebP keeps the first frame only. For other pairs, open Convert image.
How to check the JPG before you attach it
1. Open the download and look at edges that used to be transparent. 2. If you see a white box around a logo, switch to WebP to PNG and run that page instead. 3. Send the JPG when the receiver asked for a photo, not a cutout.
This page refuses PNG and JPG on purpose so the pair stays WebP to JPG. A mixed folder belongs on Convert image. The first frame is all you get from an animation.
