Your file never leaves your device. The PNG is drawn in this tab. Nothing is uploaded.

How to make a QR code

1. Paste the link or the text in the box. 2. Leave the size at 512 px for a screen, or pick 1024 px if you will print it. 3. Press “Create QR code”. 4. Check the preview and download the PNG.

A phone should read the code from an arm’s length when the PNG is shown large enough. If a scanner fails, shorten the text: a smaller code is easier to read.

What gets encoded

GustKit stores the text as bytes in a standard QR code with error correction level M. A normal link fits. A long paragraph does not: this page stops around a hundred characters of plain text so the code stays scannable.

Nothing leaves this tab

There is no account and no request that sends your link to a server. The PNG is a picture of the squares. It does not contain a hidden copy of a file from your computer.

How to check the code with your phone

1. Open the PNG full screen. 2. Point the camera at it from a short distance, with the white border still visible. 3. If it does not read, download the 1024 px size or shorten the link.

The code stores exactly the text you typed. A link should include https:// if that is the address you want the phone to open.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put a logo in the middle?

Not on this page. The code is the plain square pattern, which is what most scanners expect.

Why did it refuse my text?

It is longer than this QR size can hold. Use a shorter link. Accented letters take more than one byte, so a note in Portuguese fills up sooner than the same number of English letters.

Does the PNG have a white border?

Yes. The quiet zone is part of the code. Do not crop it off or some phones will fail to read it.

Is the link uploaded?

No. The picture is drawn in this tab.

Can I use this for a Wi-Fi password?

Only if you paste the short text your phone already understands. This page does not build a special Wi-Fi record for you.

Does the PNG remember my link after I close the tab?

Only the file you downloaded. GustKit does not keep a copy.
