How to organize PDF pages
1. Drop one PDF and wait for a card per page. 2. Drag a card, or use the arrows, until page 1 of the new file is on the left. 3. Press “Save order” and open the download on the first page and the last page.
The arrows move that page earlier or later. Removing a card drops it from the new file. At least one page has to remain. If you know the numbers and want several files, use Split PDF instead.
Same organizer as Rotate PDF
This page and Rotate PDF share one engine. Use this URL when the job is the order: a scanned packet that came out backwards, or a cover that should be last. Use Rotate PDF when the job is turning sideways pages. You can still turn a single card here before you save.
Password-protected files must be unlocked first. The new PDF is the pages you kept, in the order on screen.
What is copied
pdf-lib copies the original pages. Selectable text stays selectable. Photos are not recompressed by this step. The download is usually about the size of the pages you kept.
How to check the new page order
1. Read the cards from left to right before you save. 2. Open the download and check the first page and the last page. 3. If one page is sideways, turn that card and save again.
The text is copied, not retyped. A password-protected PDF must be unlocked first. Split PDF is the page when you want several files instead of one reordered file.
