How to loop a clip
1. Drop a short video. Audio files and pictures are refused. 2. Leave “How many times” on 2, or switch to target length and type more seconds than the clip. 3. Press “Loop video” and check that the download plays past the original ending.
The first try uses FFmpeg stream_loop and copies the picture and sound. If the container cannot be copied, GustKit joins the clip with the concat filter and re-encodes a short MP4. A result past the limit on the page is refused before encoding starts.
What stays the same
Looping does not speed the clip up and does not change the pitch. Change video speed is that page. Trim video cuts a long recording down to the short piece you can loop here.
The clip stays in this tab
FFmpeg loads once and the browser caches it. The media is not sent away to be repeated. Close the tab and the copy is gone.
How to tell the loop reached the length you asked for
1. Play past the original ending. The picture should start again, not freeze. 2. If you asked for a target length, the download should stop near that time. 3. If the copy looks broken, run again: GustKit then re-encodes with concat.
Two plays of a 6 second clip is about 12 seconds. The page refuses a result past the output limit. Trim video is how you get under the input limit. Nothing is uploaded.
