How to change video FPS
1. Drop one video you already have. Audio-only files and pictures are refused here. 2. Pick 15, 24, 25, 30 or 60. 3. Press “Change FPS” and download the MP4.
The FFmpeg fps filter drops or repeats frames so the clip hits the rate you picked. A 6 second clip stays about 6 seconds. This is not Change video speed, which shortens or lengthens the timeline. The picture is re-encoded, so keep the original until the motion looks right.
Frame rate is not playback speed
30 fps on a clip that was 15 fps repeats frames. It does not make the action faster. Speed is the page that changes how long the clip plays. Video to GIF also picks a frame rate, and it writes a GIF, not an MP4. Trim video is how you get under the length limit first.
The clip stays in this tab
The first visit downloads FFmpeg. Later visits reuse the browser cache. Clips longer than the limit on the page are refused, because every frame is re-encoded here. GustKit does not fetch video from a link.
How to check the new frame rate before you replace the clip
1. Play the download next to the original. The action should take about the same time. 2. If you asked for fewer frames, motion can look a little stepped. That is the filter dropping frames. 3. Keep the original until speech still lines up with the picture.
Change video speed is the page that shortens or lengthens the clip. This page only changes how many frames are stored per second. A long clip is refused because every frame is re-encoded. Nothing is uploaded.
