How to add a vignette
1. Drop a JPG, PNG or WebP you already have. Audio and video are refused here. 2. Leave Medium, or pick Light or Strong. 3. Keep the original format, or choose JPG, PNG or WebP. 4. Press “Add vignette” and compare the corners with the original.
GustKit draws the photo on a canvas and multiplies pixels by a radial falloff. The middle of the picture stays as it was. The corners get darker as the strength goes up. Strong takes the corners close to black. Save PNG if the photo has a clear background you need to keep.
A vignette darkens the frame, blur softens it
Blur image smears every pixel. Brightness moves the whole photo lighter or darker. This page only darkens toward the corners and leaves the subject in the middle. It does not crop, rotate or resize. Camera location is not copied into the new file.
The photo stays in this tab
Nothing is sent to a server to be edited. Close the tab and the picture is gone. A photo over the megapixel limit on the page is refused, because the canvas has to hold every pixel.
How to check the darker edges before you post the photo
1. Open the original and the download at the same zoom. 2. Look at a corner, then at the middle. The corner should be darker. The middle should still match. 3. If Strong ate too much of the frame, run again at Medium.
The pixel size does not change. Blur image softens instead of darkening the edges. Brightness moves the whole photo. JPG quality can be lowered on purpose. Nothing is uploaded.
