GustKit runs the FFmpeg bass filter or the treble filter. More bass adds 8 dB around the low shelf. Less bass cuts 8 dB. More treble adds 8 dB on the high shelf. Less treble cuts 8 dB. MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG and FLAC keep their type.
Tone, not a format change
Change volume raises or lowers the whole file. Audio pan moves the sound left or right. This page changes the low shelf or the high shelf and leaves the clock time about the same. A video belongs on the video pages.
The audio stays in this tab
FFmpeg runs in this browser. GustKit does not fetch audio from a link. Close the tab and the file is gone. Audio up to the limit shown next to the button.
How to check the bass and treble
1. Play the download next to the original. 2. More bass should thicken the low end. More treble should brighten the high end. 3. If the file type changed, you opened a different page.
Change volume moves the whole file. This page runs the FFmpeg bass filter or the treble filter and keeps the file type. Nothing is uploaded.
