How to oil paint an image
1. Drop a photo you already have. A video or an audio file is refused here. 2. Leave medium, or pick light or strong. 3. Leave PNG, or pick JPG. 4. Press “Oil paint” and download.
GustKit looks at the colors around each pixel on the canvas. The most common nearby brightness wins, and the pixel takes the average color of that group. Light uses a small brush. Strong uses a wider one. Width and height stay the same. PNG keeps transparency. JPG fills empty pixels with white.
Strokes, the same frame
Blur softens every pixel the same way. Posterize keeps hard bands of color. This page smears a speck into the colors around it, which reads more like paint. The download is PNG or JPG. Camera location is not copied.
The photo stays in this tab
The canvas of this browser does the math. GustKit does not fetch a photo from a link. Close the tab and the file is gone. Photos up to the limit shown next to the button.
How to check the painted photo
1. Open the original and the download at the same zoom. 2. A lone bright speck should blend into the color around it. 3. A flat wall should stay about the same color. If the strokes are too wide, run again on Light.
Blur softens every pixel. This page keeps the most common nearby color and saves PNG or JPG. Nothing is uploaded.
