How to add a soft glow
1. Drop a photo you already have. A video or an audio file is refused here. 2. Leave medium, or pick light or strong. 3. Leave PNG, or pick JPG. 4. Press “Add glow” and download.
GustKit blurs a copy of the photo and screens it back on. Light mixes 25% of that copy with a radius of 1 pixel. Medium mixes 45% with a radius of 2. Strong mixes 75% with a radius of 4. Width and height stay the same. PNG keeps transparency. JPG fills empty pixels with white. Camera location is not copied.
A bloom, then a sharp photo
Blur image softens every pixel and leaves it soft. Sharpen image pushes edges. Image grain adds speckle. This page keeps the photo and lays a soft bright copy on top. A short video belongs on Sharpen video, which clears frames and saves MP4.
The photo stays in this tab
The canvas of this browser draws the glow. GustKit does not fetch a photo from a link. Close the tab and the file is gone. Photos up to the limit shown next to the button.
How to check the glow
1. Open the original and the download at the same zoom. 2. A bright edge should bloom into the darker side. Strong should bloom more than light. 3. If the size changed, you opened a different page.
Blur image leaves the photo soft. This page screens a blurred copy back on and saves PNG or JPG. Nothing is uploaded.
