How to invert video colors
1. Drop a video you already have. An audio file is refused here. 2. Leave full, or pick a little or most of the way. 3. Press “Invert colors” and download the MP4.
Full runs the FFmpeg negate filter on every frame, so each color goes to its opposite and a dark picture turns light. A little mixes 45% of that negative with the original. Most of the way mixes 75%. Width and height stay the same. A soundtrack is kept and re-encoded to AAC when the file has one. The clip still plays forward.
Colors flip, the clip does not play backward
Reverse video plays the frames from the end back to the start. Video gamma and video contrast reshape the same colors. This page flips them. A photo belongs on Invert image, which can stop partway and save PNG or JPG.
The clip stays in this tab
FFmpeg runs in this browser. GustKit does not fetch a video from a link. Close the tab and the file is gone. Clips up to the limit shown next to the button.
How to check the inverted clip
1. Play the download next to the original. 2. On Full, a dark wall should look light. 3. The clip should still play forward. If the frame grew, you added a border on another page.
Reverse video plays the frames backward. This page flips colors with negate or a mix of that negative and saves MP4. Nothing is uploaded.
