How to split the channels
1. Drop a video you already have. A photo or an audio file is refused here. 2. Leave medium, or pick light or wide. 3. Press “Split RGB” and download the MP4.
GustKit runs the FFmpeg rgbashift filter. Red moves left. Blue moves right. Green stays. Light moves them about 2 pixels. Wide moves them about 12. Width and height stay the same. A soundtrack is encoded again in AAC and stays in step.
A fringe, not a color grade
Color grade tints the whole frame with eq and curves. Invert colors flips every channel in place. This page slides red and blue apart, so a bright edge picks up a red fringe on one side and a blue fringe on the other. It does not crop the frame and it does not change the speed.
The video stays in this tab
FFmpeg runs in this browser, on one thread. GustKit does not fetch a video from a link. Leave the tab open until the download appears. Close it and the file is gone. Clips up to the limit shown next to the button.
How to check the RGB split
1. Play the download next to the original. 2. A bright edge should pick up red on one side and blue on the other. Wide should move the colors farther than light. 3. If the download is not MP4, or the frame size changed, you opened a different page.
Color grade tints the whole frame. This page runs FFmpeg rgbashift, keeps the frame size, and saves MP4. Nothing is uploaded.
